Welcome to Moonlight Creations! My name is Wendy Boudreau. I am the owner/designer behind Moonlight Creations. I specialize in custom handmade wedding stationery including invitations, RSVP’s, direction cards, save-the-date cards, thank-you notes and event place cards. If you have any ideas, please invite me to make your concept a reality.

Each invitation is hand stamped using only the best quality inks and paper available. Each image is detailed by hand therefore slight variations may exist from piece to piece but the results are stunning and stand out from traditional invitations.

I take great care to provide you with impeccable invitations but cannot in anyway guarantee the EXACT placement of hand stamped details from card to card. I can however, promise that each will be beautiful and well done.

The process for save the date and invitation orders 50+, from purchase to shipping, does take roughly 4-6 weeks – sometimes a little longer during my high-season (May-October). I realize – that sounds like a long time… but the creation of handmade pieces does require more time for the proofing and actual hands-on construction process.

Sample sets are available for purchase and are recommended to see the stunning results.
I love what I am doing. So please, don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I have many designs, and more brewing all the time – but I would love to create something unique and special from your ideas.

Payment

All payments are due before shipment. Paypal is my preferred method, but I am an honest person, and hope all others are the same, so I do accept personal checks and money orders too! A $100 deposit is required for all custom wedding stationery. Once your initial deposit is received, I will begin creating your sample invitation. You are welcome to make changes until you are perfectly happy with your design, which is something most wedding invitation designers limit. It’s my greatest desire that you have exactly what you’ve always dreamt of for your special day! Once you are completely satisfied with the design, I will send an actual sample invitation to you via First Class Mail. Once you receive and approve of this final sample the remaining payment will be due. I will create a reserved listing in my shop just for you. Once your purchase is made I will begin crafting your invitations.

Shipping

Each handmade piece is made with love, so presentation is key -your goods will be wrapped with extreme care to ensure a very happy arrival at your door.

Wedding Invitations, Baby Shower Invitation & Save the Date’s: Shipping cost for each listing in my shop is for the sample only.

Shipping amounts for wedding invitations and other customized stationery items are estimated once the details are finalized (number of items, total estimated weight, and destination zip code). This allows me to give you the most accurate shipping cost possible.

I normally ship via USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise arranged and purchased ahead of time. I purchase delivery confirmation on every package I send, and get an estimated delivery date that I will share with you once your order has been officially shipped. I have had wonderful ease shipping through USPS – but please understand that to error is human, and they’ve been known to make a little mistake here and there.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the customization of wedding stationery, refunds and exchanges are not offered. Samples are sent for approval before anything is made. If for some reason an error has been made on my part, please be sure to contact me for options.

It is my goal to provide you with a positive shopping experience and a handmade item that you love. If I fall short in this please contact me directly so I can make things right.

Once you have received your package, please let me know it arrived safely, by way of feedback in my shop, or convo – I love to hear your reactions… it’s my favorite part of the process!

**S P E C I A L N O T E S about wedding orders **

INVITATION POSTAGE
I encourage you to take one of your handmade wedding invitations & response postcards/cards in their envelopes to your local post office and have them weighed/measured for exact stamp cost before you purchase your stamps to send your pieces to your guests. If you have concerns/questions with the mailing, please convo me, I can give you some advice! Some invitations, because of extra bulk (ribbon knot, etc), square sizes or weight will cost extra to mail and will require additional postage. Normally, bulky or heavier invites require a $.65 stamp (as of 1/22/12)- but good news… USPS has a $.65 stamp with a lovely design instead of adding extra stamps to each envelope!! So please be sure to take this step before you send your invitations to your guests. taking this simple step before you mail your pieces can save some precious time and terrible headaches in your planning process :)

Lastly, please note that these paper goods are completely, and lovingly created by hand. Though the utmost perfection and your happiness is what I pride myself on… very slight imperfections are sometimes part of the process and what makes each and every one of your pieces one-of-a-kind :)
