The following is a pocketfold wedding invitation I made for a couple getting married this fall.  They chose the colors navy and gold.  I used the stamp set, "Finest Flourishes,"  from papertrey ink to create these gorgeous invitations.  The LOVE stamp on the front closure is from the stampin’ up stamp set, "Love is a great thing."  The pocketfold is made from a piece of 12 x 12 navy cardstock which has been layered with brushed gold cardstock.

 

 

Here’s a photo of the invitations all stamped with the flourish design. They were all heat set and lightly embossed with a metallic gold ink.

 

 

  

Here’s a closeup of the stamped flourish deisgn on the invitation panel.  The metallic gold ink provides a subtle gold shimmer.

 

 

 Here’s a closeup of the stamped embossed flourish design on the inside pocket.  I used clear embossing powder and navy ink.  The embossing creates a shiny raised image.

The following is a wedding invitation I made recently for a couple getting married this fall.  I used a burgundy colored cardstock as the main color with gold and green accents. 

 

The invitation wording is printed on a piece of vellum which has been placed over a piece of whisper white cardstock which I hand stamped with a leaf stamp in various shades of burgundy, gold and green. 

 

Some of the leaves have been heat embossed with white embossing powder.  These images I then sponged with burgundy ink.  The embossed design resists the ink a creates a stunning image. 

 

This white stamped piece along with the vellum overlay is adhered to a piece of shimmery gold cardstock and finally to a piece of burgundy cardstock.

 

I attached a hand made burgundy grosgrain ribbon to complete the invitation.

The following is a wedding invitation sample I put together for a couple getting married next fall.  Cherie and Nick wanted a pocketfold invitation similar to my ever popular Sarah invitation.  They modified the design a bit to include their colors which are burgundy and sangria. 

 

The sangria colored cardstock has been heat embossed with a flourish design from the stampin up set, "Baroque Motifs" in burgundy ink.

 

For the tag I stamped the words Together Forever,  from the stampin up stamp set, "To Have and To Hold" in burgundy ink.  A handmade satin bow finishes the invitation.

 

The invitation wording is printed on a piece of vellum and attached to the inside.
