Hello,

Wow!  It's been quite a while since I've posted.  Thanks for all the kind emails asking if eveything's okay.  Everything is fine, I've just been really busy these last couple of months.

Anyway,  I have a really cute project for you today.  It's called an explosion box.  It is such a unique way to display photos and it is really easy to make. This box is the perfect gift and it doesn’t even need gift wrap!  The box holds up to twelve photos and folds up into a 4 x 4 box.

You will need the following to create your explosion box:

3 pieces of  12 x 12 cardstock

1 piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock

Decorative Cardstock

Outside Box:  12 X 12 piece of carstock scored at 4" on all four sides. Cut out the four corners and fold on score lines like a big plus sign.  Cut 4 pieces of decorative paper to 3 3/4" square and attach to the 4 corners of your box.

Middle Box:  10 1/2 X 101/2 piece of carstock scored at 3 1/2 " on all four sides and again cut out the four corners and fold.  Cut 4 pieces of decorative paper to 3 1/4" square and attach to the 4 corners of your box.

Inside Box:  9 X 9 piece of cardstock scored at 3" on all four sides and again cut out the four corners and fold.  Cut 4 pieces of decorative paper to 2 3/4" square and attach to the 4 corners of your box.

Lid:  8 X 8 piece of cardstock scored at 1 7/8" on all four sides.  Cut the corners of the lid as shown here and attach with a little piece of adhesive.

Attach some ribbon and /or some other embellishments to decorate your box.

Here's an explosion box that I recently made.  I will be posting this as well as a few other photo boxes in the Moonlight Creations Store a little later this afternoon.

Here’s a scrapbook I made recently for a craft fair.  I used the stampin’ up stamp set, winter post, along with ridinghood red cardstock and the matching ribbon.  The front cover is embellished with felt flurries and a flower from the flower fusion too collection. Inside I used a couple of silver brads from the hodgepodge hardware set to hold it all together.  There are 10 pages and room for 20 photos.  The pages are made using the clear envelopes available from stampin up.

I made these for a recent craft fair.  They are call magic reindeer food.  I cased this idea from Angie Juda.  I used the sizzix big shot top note die to create the bag topper.  The bag is filled with quaker oats and gold glitter.  The reindeer stamp is from the stampin’ up set, Winter Post.  The cardstock and ink colors are riding hood red and chocolate chip.  I also used the stampin up scallop punch, 1 3/8" circle punch and 1 1/4"punch.

The poem reads, "just a sprinkle on the lawn at night, the moon will make it sparkle bright, as Santa’s reindeer fly and roam, this treat will guide them to your home.
